THE PROBLEM THAT LED ME HERE:
After years of building my corporate career, my days started early… leaving home before 6:30am, driving close to an hour just to get to work.
I’d spend the day in back-to-back meetings, often in an office with no windows… not even knowing if it was sunny or raining. I was presenting at board level, advising on strategy, leading major decisions.
From the outside, it looked like success. But behind the scenes… the pressure had shifted.
Office politics. Restructures. Being caught between senior leaders.
I’d already been through six restructures. And I could see exactly where it was heading. More of the same… for the next decade.
At the same time, my daughter was growing up… and I couldn’t ignore what it had cost.
I remember thinking… I can’t keep doing this.
And I also knew… I wasn’t done growing.
I didn’t want less. I wanted more.
More time. More income. More freedom!
THE COURSE THAT CHANGED EVERYTHING: At 48, I decided to get serious about my financial future and enrolled in a financial education course.
It helped me look at my numbers properly… and for the first time, I could really see what my future looked like.
And something shifted. I realised… I wanted more.
A bigger life. More freedom. More possibility.
So, I did what most of us do… I started Googling how to build something alongside my career. I thought I’d find a way to create a bit of extra income.
But what I found surprised me. Something much bigger than I expected. A business in the personal development space… something I genuinely loved…
And for the first time, I could see a direct path to replacing my corporate income altogether. And with everything I could see coming in corporate… it just made sense.
What started as a simple search… became a complete shift. A new path. A new chapter. And something I genuinely didn’t even know existed.
I went looking for a side income…
I found something far bigger.
THE BUSINESS THAT JUST MADE SENSE: When I saw this model, I knew immediately it was for me.
It gave me a way to build income without being tied to the structure I’d outgrown.
And what I loved most… I didn’t have to build everything from scratch. There was already a proven model, a global business, and a product I genuinely believed in.
I could plug into it… learn the skills… and build it in my own way. Some days I go all in. Some days I step back.
But I’m always in control. And over time…
it’s grown into something far bigger than I expected.
